For Mother's Day, Brad, Levi and Pap treated BB and me to a wonderful weekend at Kiawah. It was great to spend time together and take Mary Van to the beach for the first time.
We got there late on Friday. Saturday morning I tried to get some cute pictures of MV in her party dress and at the beach. Saturday night we met Levi downtown at Hominy Grill for dinner. Sunday we had brunch at Tomasso at Turtle Point on Kiawah.
She LOVED the beach. All of it - water, sand, waves, everything.
You can't really tell in these pictures but poor baby had a bad case of gionatti-crosti, a benign rash caused by immunizations. Thank goodness it didn't itch. It lasts a long time though! Most of the redness is gone but she still has some bumps, especially on the leg where she got her shots.
